Grossfurtner works in all its production steps with a quality management system following the criteria of the „International Food Standard“. Core of this system is a risk analysis which investigates all production processes. The influence of harmful substances of biological, chemical or physical kind are strictly controlled and prevented.
AMA- Seal of quality:
The production at Grossfurtner fulfils the criteria of the Austrian AMA seal of quality. Regular external controls confirm that our meat complies with the superior quality standard and that is origin is documented.
Our meat in AMA-organic proof quality exclusively originates from organic farming and is subject to rigorous production regulations. The animals are kept in a species-appropriate way with a lot of free moving space and without the application of genetic engineering.
SUS and BOS certification:
Our certifications in accordance with SUS and BOS criteria guarantee a comprehensible system of origin safety. Origin means that birth, mast and slaughtering of animals are traceable any time.
